Matchbox Twenty is right here to entertain you for the occasion. The show takes place at Rancho Mirage, CA in Aqua Caliente Casino which is a very familiar place for the happenings of bands. This program is going to be held on February 13th 2009 around 9 PM. Matchbox Twenty is a band which was formed in Orlando, Florida. The band has released around 45 million albums to which people are going crazy about its music. Few of the albums from their band like you or someone like You, Mad Season and More Than You Think You Are world famous collections. The current members are Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Brian Yale and Kyle Cook and these people participate in this particular concert that is going to be held at Rancho. This is a special concert where the band members are going to perform the latest releases and according to audience’s request.
You or Someone like You is a debut album which was released during the year 1996. The album went on well giving around twelve million copies. Mad Season is the second album which they released during the year 2000. The third album More Than Think You Are is another big hit which comes under hard rocks. Even though few songs form this album was not successful it gave a live presence in the radio for years and got good comments for the album. In the year 2003 they released a small album called EP which had only six songs. One among this album is “Suffer Me” which was a big hit and people found it to be different. Till this release they dint have any live concerts or any such concerts but during the year 2004 in the month of May, they had a live concert DVD show for the first time featuring twenty songs with all their hit songs. In the year 2007 Exile on the Mainstream was released which has a complete collection of their old hit songs with a new MVI format. In the year 2008 they had a special guest Alanis Morisette in a concert with an opener Mute Math in the US tour on January 25th and concluded it in Las Vegas before going to Australia for another concert. There is a rumor that they may release an album in the year 2009 for which Rob Thomas is expected to dedicate his hard work for the collection of the songs. It is obviously a great pleasure of having such a band here for the coming months. To make it more special they need people’s support and audience’s encouragement.
