Marie-Mai who is originally named as Marie-Mai Bouchard was born on July 7 1984. She was born in Varennes, Quebec. She is a French Canadian singer. She was a participant of a reality show called Star Academie. This reality show was organized in Quebec. Marie-Mai’s father was a musician. Her interest in music started when she was practicing the piano lessons. She has participated in many musical comedies. So her story began because of her casual singing which was noticed by her Grand Mother. Marie-Mai’s Grand Mother insisted her to participate in the competition called Star Academie. Before participating in Star Academie in 2001 she gave her first performance at Montreal musical theatre. This performance was given in the passion intense show. She was one of the noted top finalists of the reality show Star Academie.
Her first album was Inoxydable which was released in the year 2004 on September 24th. Marie-Mai’s first album sold more than 120000 copies in Quebec and many more in other places as well. This album was released in the year 2006 in France alone. She had toured in many European countries for performing her mind blowing concert. In the year of 2006 Marie-Mai had a good reach in all the international stage and performed many shows across many countries. Marie-Mai once toured to Paris to perform a show at Olympia. This show brought her name and fame. Marie-Mai was astonished due to the experience that she had in Paris. She was amazed due to the response given by the people in Olympia Marie-Mai’s second album was Dangereuse Attraction. This album was released in the year 2007 in August. She expected the same response like her first debut album. But her second album crossed the record of the first album. Marie-Mai has performed guest vocals for an album called Wake Up and Say Goodbye. Some of the popular songs of Marie-Mai are Encore, Mentir, Mills jours and many more.
